Snapz ProX has been updated for Mavericks OS 10.9
A few of my fellow Mac geeks and I were bemoaning the probable demise of Ambrosia Software’s Snapz ProX with the arrival of OS X Mavericks. Snapz ProX had not been updated in some time, and there was a rumor that it would not be updated again. Since the product was crashing with OS X Mavericks, it seemed that it was going to be time to find a replacement. Imagine my surprise today when I went to make a new screenshot and got a notification that there was a new update that resolved Mavericks issues!
I’ve been holding off on upgrading to OS X Mavericks simply because I’m in the throes of writing two books due by the end of the year, and I didn’t want to learn new screenshot software, or have any other critical software give me problems. I probably still will “wait a bit”, but at least I know now that one of my worries has been eliminated.
Have you upgraded to Mavericks? If so, what worked well, and what applications will need upgrading/replacing to keep your in your groove?
